Beginning your Viking Travel tour on a flight from Seattle, Washington to Sitka, you will enjoy two nights right in downtown Sitka. The following day you'll set off on a wildlife tour by boat through Sitka Sound to St. Lazaria Island or Goddard Hot Springs. While on the tour you will have the opportunity to view humpback whales, seals, sea lions and other various marine life. Then it’s off to Alaska's Capital City, Juneau, where you'll spend three nights. While in Juneau you'll enjoy a boat tour to Tracy Arm Fjord where the wilderness contains 653,179 acres and consists of two deep and narrow fjords: Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm and the twin Sawyer Glaciers. Watch for ice breaking off the face of the glaciers creating huge waves and thundering sounds. Both fjords are over 30 miles long and one-fifth of their area is covered in ice. Next you are off to Anchorage by jet for one night before boarding the Alaska Railroad and Gold Star dome seating for the scenic eight-hour ride to Denali. Breakfast and Lunch are served onboard. Watch for sightings of Mt. Denali on the way!
